Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation has delivered the 200th UH/HH-60M Black Hawk helicopter to the US Army.

The UH-60M and HH-60M multimission-type helicopters equipped with a new airframe, avionics and propulsion system are the latest in the series of Black Hawk variants.

The new Black Hawk helicopters provide less pilot workload, increased lift, better protection and enhanced survivability.

It also provides payload and range, advanced digital avionics, better handling qualities and situational awareness, active vibration control, improved survivability and production.

The total number of Black Hawk helicopters in the US Army's fleet exceeds 1,740 aircraft.

Under the present contract, Sikorsky will deliver more than 1,350 UH-60M and HH-60M aircraft to the US Army.
