The Canadian Department of National Defence has awarded a contract to Calian Technologies to provide maintenance services at Canadian Army bases across the country.
Under the $15m contract, Calian will carry out the full range of maintenance services on Class B vehicles at five army bases in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick.

Calian will deploy military vehicle technicians to deliver the various vehicle and trailer maintenance services at these five main army bases.
Vehicle maintenance services include all mandated modifications and inspections as well as preservation of equipment across the army.
The contract has an initial base period for two years and one optional year, which if exercised could bring the value of the contract to $24m.
