The US Army has awarded a contract to Alliant Techsystems for the supply of 120mm training tank ammunition.

Under the $50m contract, the company will provide 120mm training ammunition including the M865 kinetic energy and the M1002 multipurpose anti-tank training rounds used by the M1A1/A2 Abrams main battle tank.
