DynCorp International will provide helicopter maintenance support services for the Royal Saudi helicopter fleet under a $17.2m foreign military contract awarded by the US Army.
Under the two-year contract, the company will assist the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLFAC) in maximising aircraft operational capability and achieving training objectives.
In addition, DynCorp will provide support services and personnel to improve, train and advise RSLFAC.
The helicopter fleet of the RSLFAC fleet contains Apache, Blackhawk and combat scout aircraft.
The contract has three optional years, which, if exercised, would increase the value to $43.1m.
Maintenance work on the helicopters will be carried out in Saudi Arabia.
