The US Army has awarded a $450m contract to consulting services company Odyssey Systems Consulting Group to provide a broad range of scientific, technical and engineering support services.

Under the contract, the company will provide Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and operational support services for US Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) and collaborating agencies.

The operational support services include definition, planning and development, and execution of space, missile defence, global strike, information operations, C4ISR and related missions.

In addition, the company will assist the army with strategic planning, technology assessment, modelling and simulation, prototype development, systems analysis and integration, test and evaluation, sustainment and other contingency and mission support.

Odyssey Systems team members include Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services, Aegis Technologies Group, Global Security & Engineering Solutions, Spiral Solutions and Technologies, and others.
