South African armoured vehicle manufacturer OTT Technologies has displayed its latest armoured personnel carrier (APC), the M22TL, at this year’s Defence Systems & Equipment International event in London.
The M22TL is a cost-effective armoured variant of the M22 LMAV and carries a total crew of up to 14 including the driver.

The 4×2 drive vehicle can also be used as a command and control vehicle or an ambulance.
The floor of the M22TL is protected against hand grenades and handguns while the compact size and manoeuvrability of the vehicle make it suitable for urban police and security operations.
The vehicle has a payload capacity of 2,400kg, fuel capacity of 100l and can move at a maximum speed of 110km/h. The vehicles are currently in production.
