The US Army has contracted the ATV (all-terrain vehicle) manufacturer Polaris Industries to supply additional vehicles, parts and accessories for the MV700 militarised ATV, for operations in Afghanistan.
The MV700 features a 360° protective system that allows the vehicle to take more abuse than the traditional ATV and the Polaris on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD) system that automatically engages when the rider needs more forward traction.
