The US Army has awarded a five-year contract to Point Black Solutions for the delivery of improved outer tactical vests.

Point Black Solutions will manufacture 736,000 improved outer tactical vests under the indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract.

The contract also reportedly includes a production of up to 253,000 deltoid and axillary protection systems body armour.

The contract has been granted by the Army Readiness Command Acquisition Center, reports UPI.
