The Israeli Army is all set to test a new type of tank shell called Calanit, which is to be used against anti-tank missile squadrons in August 2009.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the shell can be fired beyond a hill, exploding in mid air above the target to eliminate hidden missile squads.
