The US Army and Sikorsky have chosen the Talon system from FLIR Systems for use on HH-60M Black Hawk helicopters to support the army in its combat rescue and MEDEVAC missions.

The Talon advanced multi-sensor system can be smoothly integrated with the help of the existing FLIR Systems mountings on the HH-60M Black Hawks, FLIR officials at this year's Paris Air Show said.

The US-made lightweight, gyro-stabilised 9in multi-sensor EO/IR turret enables military operations on a variety of rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, land vehicles, ships and small boats, even in extreme environments.
