The Chinese armed forces are willing to extend their cooperation and strengthen ties with Egypt, Chinese Defence Minister Liang Guanglie said while meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hussein Tantawi.
Liang said China and Egypt have enjoyed deep traditional friendship with already fruitful relationships within defence following diplomatic ties made in 1956, a report on news service Xinhua said on Monday.
