Raytheon and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems have won a US$232m US army contract to develop the XM 1111 Mid-Range Munition for the Future Combat Systems’ Mounted Combat System.
The 63-month contract will cover system design and development of the 120mm, precision-guided smart ammunition.
