Trusted Computer Solutions (TCS) have announced the availability of the simulated training industry’s first guard solution that allows training exercises to be shared by classified and unclassified enclaves.

The TCS SimShield has been designed for use with the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA), which allows for interoperability, reusability and composability of geographically distributed military tests or logical range resources.

TCS says the two primary architectures that are supported within the modelling, simulation and training field are high level architecture for simulated training exercises and TENA for live training.

The system is currently going through the certification process, and TCS expects to gain Interim Authority to Operate by April next year, enabling the connection of the Joint Training and Experimentation Network and the Air Combat Training System.
