The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a contract to Team Excalibur for the delivery of Project Shepherd, which enhances delivery of the electronic warfare (EW) information.

Under the contract, the company will upgrade the UK defence electronic warfare database and provide a suite of advanced EW operational support tools.

Project Shepherd will provide automated end-to-end capability to the Defence Electronic Warfare Centre (DEWC) for improved situational awareness and increased spectrum dominance.

SRC president Paul Tremont said, "Our extensive history in EW will bring critical assets to Team Excalibur in developing capabilities for the MoD to better equip their military force on the EW battlefield."

Team Excalibur is a consortium comprising Logica, MASS and SRC.
