Under the $128.5m contract, the company will continue to provide the latest upgrades and system capabilities through systems analysis, software and hardware engineering, and testing to US and international Patriot customers.
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Patriot programmes vice-president Sanjay Kapoor said that the engineering services will ensure that Patriot systems remain at the highest level of readiness.
Work will be carried out at the Integrated Air Defense Center, Massachusetts; the Warfighter Protection Center, Alabama; and at the Mission Capability Verification Center, New Mexico, US.
Raytheon IDS is the prime contractor for Patriot Air and Missile Defense Systems and is also the system integrator for Patriot advanced capability-3 missiles.
