Enstrom Helicopter Corporation has completed the first three 480B advanced turbine training helicopters for the Royal Thai Army.
The 480B aircraft have been equipped with a number of advanced features, including NVG compatible cockpits, Chelton EFIS systems and dual Wulfsberg RT-5000 tactical radio systems.
Deliveries of the aircraft will follow once the aircrew and maintenance personnel training commences in March this year.
The aircraft was selected in a competitive bidding process that included aircraft from seven different manufacturers.
The company was awarded a contract by the Thai army last year for 16 480B advanced turbine training helicopters.
