ManTech International Corporation has been awarded a contract by the US Army TACOM to continue providing logistics sustainment and support for the US military MRAP family of vehicles (FoV).
The $488m award is for an initial period of performance and options totalling 11 months.
Under the contract, ManTech will manage, monitor and sustain equipment operational readiness for MRAP FoVs.
The company will also provide rapid assessment and repair of battle-damaged MRAP and route clearance vehicle equipment, as well as quick repairs of mechanical failures due to operational damage or system fatigue.
ManTech Technical Services Group president and chief operating officer Louis M Addeo said the MRAP FoV programme supported US military efforts to reduce casualties and improve personnel survivability.
Work will be carried out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and at facilities throughout the US as required.
