The Spanish Ministry of Defence has awarded a four-year contract to General Dynamics for the supply of 5.56×45mm Nato ammunition for the Spanish Army, Air Force and Navy.
The contract has a maximum potential value of approximately €20m ($27.9m) if all options are exercised.

Work will be carried out at the company’s facility in Palencia, Spain.
The contract was awarded to GD through its Spanish subsidiary Santa Bàrbara Sistemas SA.
