Russia’s arms exports are expected to reach over $10bn in 2010, the head of Russia’s state-run arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, has said.

The nation exports its weaponry to 100 countries including India, Algeria, China, Venezuela, Malaysia, Syria and Vietnam.

In 2009, arms sales were about $8.5bn, including $7.4bn from Rosobornexport, according to RIA Novosti.
