Technology company Envistacom has been awarded a subcontract to support Macro Solutions (Msol Inc) on the US Army’s potential Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Services (ITES-3S) award valued at $12.1bn.
The subcontract follows after Macro Solutions won a position on the indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract in October.
The firm-fixed-price and time and materials contract was awarded by the US Army’s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) and Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI).
The contract is set to continue for a period of nine years, including a five-year base performance period and four one-year options.
Envistacom senior vice-president Alan Carson said: “We are honoured to be selected as the subcontractor to Msol to help execute on the US Army’s Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 3 Services programme.”
“We are looking forward to working alongside Msol in our shared mission to support the US Army and their efforts to secure and modernise their networks.”
