In September, Dynetics secured a contract to manufacture its mobile, ground-based weapon system, Enduring Shield, by the US Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Missiles and Space. This system is designed to counter cruise missile (CM) and unmanned aircraft system (UAS) threats.

The contract involved the delivery of 16 field-able launcher prototypes, 60 interceptors, and related all-up round magazines (AUR-M) for the Enduring Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) scheme.

Last year, the company tested US Army Space and Missile Defense Command’s (USASMDC) Lonestar tactical space support payloads.

In 2018, Dynetics was selected by the USASMDC Technical Center programme for the development of small satellites.
