By GlobalDataThe Panzerfaust 3 is a low-recoil, anti-tank, and multi-purpose weapon. It has a maximum penetrating power against heavy battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
The shoulder-launched weapon is also capable of engaging lightly armoured targets and fortified structures.
The weapon has been catering to the needs of defence customers for over 30 years.
Panzerfaust 3-IT (Improved Tandem) is the anti-tank weapon’s latest version and comprises a tandem warhead specifically meant for engaging combat vehicles equipped with reactive protection.
In order to keep German troops fully equipped, the BAAINBw placed an order for more personal equipment and clothing in June this year.
In addition to this, the agency also signed an additional contract with Bundeswehr Clothing Management (BwBM).
