The US Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) has awarded a task order to Decisive Analytics to support Reagan Test Site technology development.

The task order was awarded under the Design, Development, Demonstration and Integration (D3I) of Enhanced Warfighter Capabilities (Domain 3) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ).

With a potential value of around $36.6m, the award includes a two-year performance period and three one-year optional ordering periods.

Under the award, Decisive Analytics will support the RTS Data Analysis Center (RDAC) with data analysis/reduction and mission planning support services.

The company will also support another RTS technology development function.

The effort will see Decisive Analytics deliver design, development, testing, and operational integration support of RTS instrumentation.

nou Systems has been selected as a subcontractor to support the RTS effort.

Decisive Analytics Huntsville Operations vice-president Jess Granone said: “I’m extremely excited to work with nou Systems on the RTS effort. We will collectively work with USASMDC/ARSTRAT and continue to offer industry-leading solutions for this critical national mission.”

The company was previously awarded a contract for Domain 3 of the D3I IDIQ in 2015.

Located at the US Army Garrison-Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands, RTS is a test range for ballistic missile defence and space surveillance programme.

The facility tests and evaluates research and development in space and missile domains.

RTS enables space situational awareness by conducting space operations.
