Raytheon Technologies’s IT hiring activity rises 10.1% in June 2022

US-based company Raytheon Technologies IT hiring rose 10.1% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 14.79% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed an 18.86% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.54% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Raytheon Technologies IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Raytheon Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 46.8% in June 2022, and a 57.69% drop over May 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 26.94% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 56.16%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.51% in June 2022, a 60.75% drop from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Raytheon Technologies

North America emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in June 2022 with an 86.7% share, which marked a 59.03% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 11.45%, registering a 34.62% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 1.85% share and a 73.81% drop over May 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with an 85.02% share in June 2022, a 59.14% decline over May 2022. India featured next with a 9.6% share, down 8.06% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 1.68% share, a decline of 28.57% compared with May 2022.

Mid Level jobs lead Raytheon Technologies IT hiring activity in June 2022

Mid Level jobs held a share of 62.79%, down by 48.27% from May 2022. Junior Level positions with a 22.05% share, a decline of 70.36% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.31% share, down 61.88% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.84%, recording a month-on-month decline of 70.59%.
