Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry registered a 3.1% rise in IT hiring activity in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 15.77% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

Out of the aerospace, defence & security industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 36.55% share in September 2021, recording an increase of 17.34% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded an 113.89% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry in September 2021.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 77.78% in September 2021, registering a 68.89% decline over the previous month.

2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 13.89% share, a flat growth over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 13.89%, registering a flat growth from August 2021.

4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 8.33%, down 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five aerospace, defence & security companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in September 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s aerospace, defence & security industry during September 2021 over August 2021.

The Boeing posted 33 IT jobs in September 2021 and registered a drop of 72.73% over the previous month, followed by Meggitt with 1 job and a flat growth. Thales with 1 IT job and Woodward with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth.

Entry Level job postings dominate in September 2021

Entry Level jobs held a share of 61.11%, down by 75.56% from August 2021. Junior Level positions with a 33.33% share, registered a decline of 52% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.56% share, down 71.43% over August 2021.
