November 2021 has seen an increase of 6.33% in the overall hiring activity when compared with October 2021.
IT jobs accounted for a 13.9% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2021, registering an increase of 0.14% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in November 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 69.34% in November 2021, a 4.19% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 13.95% in November 2021, marking a 1.98% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 10.57% in November 2021, a 4.9% rise from October 2021.

Top five auto companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 3.26% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s auto industry during November 2021 over previous month.
Robert Bosch posted 612 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a decline of 4.08% over the previous month, followed by AB Volvo with 81 jobs and a 17.35% drop. Daimler with 69 IT jobs and ZF Friedrichshafen with 68 jobs, recorded an 11.54% drop and a 6.25% rise, respectively, while Volkswagen recorded a 41.86% increase with 61 job postings during November 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s auto industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 46.86% share in November 2021, a 3.06% decrease over October 2021. The UK featured next with a 7.54% share, down 10.83% over the previous month. Sweden recorded a 6.77% share, a drop of 11.93% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.09%, down by 5.54% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 13.81% share, registered a decline of 0.51% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.81% share, down 2.97% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.28%, recording a month-on-month growth of 300%.
