Netherlands-based company Airbus IT hiring rose 7.5% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 34.06% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 14.38% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 3.8% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Airbus IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Airbus, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 51.72% in October 2021, and a 50% rise over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 21.38% in October 2021, and registered growth of 47.62%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 13.79% in October 2021, a 33.33% rise from September 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Airbus

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global aerospace, defence & security IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 100% share, which marked a 34.26% rise over the previous month.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 36.55% share in October 2021, a 17.78% growth over September 2021. France featured next with a 24.83% share, up 56.52% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 22.76% share, an increase of 73.68% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Airbus IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.76%, up by 12.35% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 24.83% share, a growth of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.41% share, up 350% over September 2021.
