US-based company The Boeing’s IT hiring declined 3.3% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.4% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 35.39% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.74% down over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Boeing IT hiring in July 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Boeing, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.86% in July 2021, and a 21.2% drop over June 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 21.64% in July 2021, and registered a 27.08% decline. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.76% in July 2021, a flat growth from June 2021.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 35.55%, registering an 8.37% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.95% share and a 28% growth over June 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s aerospace, defence & security industry IT hiring activity with a 58.11% share in July 2021, a 29.59% decline over June 2021. India featured next with a 25.97% share, down 12.04% over the previous month.Australia recorded an 8.19% share, decline of 7.02% compared with June 2021.
Mid Level jobs lead The Boeing IT hiring activity in July 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 45.6%, down by 28.57% from June 2021. Junior Level positions with a 36.63% share, a decline of 26.17% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 17.31% share, up 25.84% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.46%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
