Integrated communication systems for military airfields
Systems Interface has vast experience in specifying, installing and commissioning integrated communications systems for military airfields, including VCCS, voice recorders, radios, antennas and masts, along with supporting infrastructure such as UPS, standby-generators and equipment shelters.
Military aviation project management
Systems Interface offers a range of military aviation project management services. We manage turnkey projects including navigation systems (ILS, DVOR, CVOR, DME, TACAN and NDB), integrated control tower systems ( control consoles, radio and telephone communications), VCCS and met equipment, and airfield ground lighting solutions ranging from PAPIs to complete CAT II and III installations. Typical projects include civil works, antenna rigging, high-voltage supply networks to remote airfield sites, fibre-optic networks and LANs, cable trenching and construction of antenna and shelter foundations, and grading of the ILS glidepath beam-forming areas.
Military airfield navigational aids and instrument landing systems
We are one of Europe’s leading instrument landing system (ILS) and airport navigational aids integrators. ILS systems are available in a wide range of configurations, all meeting the most stringent ICAO Level 4 requirements and designed to be cost-effective, easy to install and operate, and above all, dependable. We can offer a full turnkey service, including civil works.
Military airfield ground lighting
Systems Interface is experienced in delivering military airfield ground lighting, ranging from Category III airfield configurations at international airbases to smaller installations requiring just precision approach path indicators (PAPls) for non-instrument runways. We can also design and supply a portable airfield ground lighting (PAGL) package for both civil and military use. The total turnkey package includes design, supply and installation of equipment plus full control, monitoring and mimics display systems designed to meet the latest ICAO and UK CAA requirements.
