CeramTec was presented with the "senetics Innovation Award" for ‘Best Supplier/Service Provider’ in the healthcare sector at the 2014 MedTech Partner Conference in Erlangen. senetics Healthcare Group presents this award annually in three different categories to help promote innovative strength in the healthcare sector.

The award ceremony is an integral part of the MedTech Partner Conference in Erlangen. Speakers from the fields of industry and science regularly discuss the future of medical technology at the conference. A key factor in the jury’s decision to present CeramTec with the award was the fact that the quality management and overall quality systems for the manufacture of BIOLOX® components for hip arthroplasty align with and in some cases even exceed internationally applicable standards. Production and logistics processes also undergo continuous process improvement. By the registration deadline, a total of 253 companies had submitted applications for the award.
