Visitors to IMAC XXX will have the opportunity to discuss their technical needs with Brüel & Kjær’s expert engineers during the five-day event.

Bruel & Kjaer will be at booth 107 during the show, which runs from 29 January to February 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida USA.

The company will be performing measurement and analytical demonstrations on a 250 National Super Kart, using its transducers, modal exciters, LAN-XI hardware and PULSE LabShop / PULSE Reflex measurement and post-processing software. And there will be demonstrations of the company’s solutions for classical modal analysis, operational modal analysis, operating deflection shapes analysis, Test-FEA integration, vibration testing and beam forming.

Brüel & Kjær is also hosting various activities, including a PULSE Reflex and Test for I-deas user group meeting. This includes a one-day course on operational modal analysis, background, theory and practice, which will be held on Sunday 29th January. And it will be presenting the following technical papers during the five day event:

  • A Local Solve Method for Extracting Modal Parameters from Inconsistent Data by M. Mains, S. Chauhan, H. Herlufsen, Brüel & Kjær, on Monday 30 January at 4:30pm
  • A Non-hermitian Joint Diagonalization based Blind Source Separation algorithm for Operational Modal Analysis by J. Antoni, University of Technology of Compiegne; S. Chauhan, Brüel & Kjær on Tuesday 31 January at 2:30pm
  • Fibre Bragg Grating Vibration Transducer based on novel Mechanical Sensing Element for Monitoring Applications by B. Kriegbaum, Brüel & Kjær on Wednesday 1 February at 9am

Brüel & Kjær is also co-organising three sessions, running Tuesday and Wednesday, on wind turbine dynamics and will be lecturing on modal parameter estimation techniques during the Young Engineer programme on Tuesday afternoon.

Visitors can register for the annual Brüel & Kjær customer appreciation event taking place on Wednesday evening, which offers an evening of great food, drinks, competitions and entertaining lectures.
