Bustec specialises in precision data acquisition systems designed for applications where measurement uncertainty is not acceptable. Our instruments are engineered to deliver high-resolution, low-noise signal capture across large channel counts while maintaining tight synchronisation between channels and systems. LXI and PXIe platforms for scalable test systems

Bustec offers both LXI-based and PXIe-based data acquisition platforms, giving customers flexibility in how systems are deployed and expanded. The ProDAQ LXI platform enables precise, synchronised measurements across distributed systems using standard Ethernet, making it ideal for large or geographically separated test setups.

For applications requiring compact form factors and very high channel density, Bustec’s PXIe modules provide deterministic performance with independent ADCs per channel, programmable gain, and excellent accuracy. Both platforms are designed to scale from small laboratory systems to large multi-rack test infrastructures without compromising performance.

Isolated measurement for noise-sensitive applications

Electrical isolation is a core design principle across the Bustec product range. Many of our instruments feature high channel-to-channel and channel-to-ground isolation, reducing the risk of ground loops and signal corruption. This is particularly important in applications such as temperature measurement with RTDs, strain gauge acquisition, and mixed-signal environments.

By isolating each measurement path, Bustec systems allow engineers to trust that each channel reflects the true behaviour of the device under test — not interference from neighbouring signals or test-stand grounding.

Software and system integration

Bustec systems are supported by dedicated data acquisition and control software, enabling configuration, calibration, synchronisation, and long-term data logging. Our software is designed to integrate easily into existing test workflows and supports automated test sequences and continuous operation.

In addition to standard products, Bustec works closely with customers to support system-level integration, including synchronisation across heterogeneous platforms, legacy system coexistence, and custom measurement architectures.

But all of Bustec’ products are also delivered with standard SCPI and C/C++ drivers to work with all open software packages in the market.
