This merger confirms the ambition of John Cockerill Defense France to be a recognized player in the service of the French and Belgian Land Forces, especially on the SCORPION-CaMo program, by strengthening its commitment within the French Defence Industrial and Technological Base.
This operation also aims to strengthen the position of John Cockerill Defense in the new generation simulators programs necessary in particular for the training of the Forces on the new materials of the SCORPION Program.
This evolution allows to develop synergies between these two entities of the John Cockerill group, and to further structure this key sector of interest in the offer of John Cockerill Defense by taking into account the complementarity of the activities of production, commissioning of weapon systems, and the strategic importance of the training simulators Agueris.
John Cockerill Defense France now includes all the following sites and activities:
• In Distroff and Guénange: Design, manufacture and assembly of weapon and
simulation systems
• In Commercy: Training of our user customers for the commissioning of equipment, its
use and maintenance in operational condition
• In Vélizy: Design, development, integration and support of Agueris training simulators
