Paramount Group, Africa’s largest privately held defence and aerospace company, has become the first defence company in Africa to provide a dedicated app for its customers.

Paramount is renowned for being leading innovators in defence solutions and the app reflects their entrepreneurial, non-conventional and creative approach to doing business.

The combination of interactive 3D images, detailed easy-to-digest information and hi-resolution videos of Paramount Group’s vehicles and aircraft will give the company an edge when communicating with stakeholders.

This information is brought together in a unique way that gives users a visually compelling overview of the capabilities of Paramount Groups’ comprehensive land, aerospace, maritime and air, electronic and correctional systems, coupled with descriptions and specifications.

The detailed 3D modelling means that Paramount Group customers can now view their products in 360 degrees and in unprecedented detail – helping to bring its products to life in a way traditional websites or brochures can’t.

For example, AHRLAC (a light reconnaissance and counter insurgency aircraft) can now be viewed from multiple angles and in excellent detail at the flick of a button.

The app also contains detailed information on Paramount Group’s national defence, peacekeeping and internal security offerings, as well as contact information and details on how to get in touch with the company.

John Craig, Chief Executive Officer, Paramount Group, said: "This app is a fantastic tool that will help us better communicate the versatility and strength of our land systems, electronic systems and aerospace solutions to the needs of our customers in an engaging and visually compelling way.

"By combining video and 3D modelling we will be giving our customers, stakeholders and interested parties a more accessible tool with which to learn about us.

"Paramount Group takes pride in the fact that it is one of Africa’s most innovative defence companies, challenging conventional thinking and innovating with cutting edge products that incorporate the latest technology.

"It is therefore only natural we apply this thinking to the way in which we engage with our stakeholders and potential customers with new media devices such as apps."
