The Special Operations Group (GEO), the Spanish Elite Police Unit, has carried out various training exercises at its facilities in Guadalajara, where it trialled EXPAL’s latest developments in demolition charges and initiation systems.

During the hostage access and retrieval exercises that were conducted, the GEO team used EXPAL’s plastic explosive bands, which allow tight and controlled explosions that avoid collateral damage.
The elite police unit also tested EXPAL’s latest initiation systems, the DC2 and S-402, which stand out for their remarkable safety technology and immediate start-up systems.

EXPAL has a long business history in the design, manufacture and marketing of initiation systems and demolition charges, and as always kept these products in continuous evolution by using the latest technology to achieve maximum efficiency, simplicity of operation and above all, safety.

These products are also used by army engineers, EOD operators, and special operations forces.
