The US Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded an enterprise-wide contract worth up to $551m for the delivery of McAfee products and services.

Under the blanket purchase agreement (BPA), immixGroup subsidiary EC America, DLT Solutions and International Systems Marketing (ISM) will collaborate with McAfee to work on the project through the DoD’s Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) programme.

As part of the BPA, McAfee will deliver its commercially available products, maintenance and support for the US DoD, intelligence community and the US Coast Guard activities across the globe.

The products to be provided include data protection and encryption, database security, endpoint protection, network security, security analytics, security management, server security, security information and event management (SIEM), web security, and all McAfee warranty and support services.

It helps reduce the total cost of ownership across the DoD, Coast Guard and intelligence communities for commercial software, IT hardware and services.
