US-based company Sparton has launched its 24in rack / console mount rugged 4k military liquid-crystal display (LCD) model.

Launched under the brand Aydin Displays, the latest 4k24N model is developed to provide enhanced picture clarity with an ultra high-definition native resolution of 3840 × 2160, which is twice that of most ruggedised displays currently used.

Designed specifically for rack / console mounting, Sparton’s 4k Military Flat Panel Display features Projected Capacitive multi-touch screen.

In addition, the LCD model is capable of delivering effective performance in all extremes of temperature, moisture, vibration and shock during crucial military missions.

This provides the user with ‘ultimate interactivity’ within a wide range of operations, including shipboard, airborne and ground mobile applications.

The 4k24N display is equipped with multiple video inputs such as a display port, video graphics array, digital visual interface and two high-definition multimedia interface ports, in addition to parallel connectors.

The model meets several rigorous military requirements such as MIL-STD-810G for drip and sand / dust, MIL-S-901D for shock, MIL-STD-167-1A Type 1 for vibration, and MIL-STD-461F for EMI.
