Elbit Systems of America’s subsidiary M7 Aerospace has secured a contract worth up to $176m to provide support services for the US Army’s C-26 and UC-35 aircraft.
The lifecycle contractor support (LCCS) contract includes a full range of reliable sustainment and support solutions such as contractor logistics support (CLS) and engineering, repair and overhaul services.

The contract was awarded by DynCorp International.
Services provided by the LCCS include aircraft modifications, upgrades, and material management, as well as site and depot maintenance.

The US Army’s C-26 and UC-35 are classified as transport aircraft and provide direct fixed-wing support to commanders across the world.
Under a separate $46m contract, Elbit Systems will supply additional J-Music direct infrared countermeasures (DIRCM) self-protection systems for Nato’s Airbus A330 multinational multi-role tanker transport fleet (MMF) programme.
The company will equip Nato’s Airbus A330 tankers with the J-Music DIRCM systems along with infra-red-based passive airborne warning systems (PAWS IR).
