AirTronic USA has received a contract from the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for the delivery of the M203 grenade launcher barrel.

The company has also received several new contracts from undisclosed global defence clients to supply parts and whole grenade launcher systems.

The company recently received multiple task order renewals for export of its precision shoulder-fired rocket launcher (PSRL). The contract takes AirTronic’s current production of PSRL through 2020.

The 37.4in PSRL is an Americanised version of the anti-tank weapon, the RPG-7, and features zero casting, machined, tubing made from 4140/4150 Ordnance Grade Steel.

With a 40mm bore (calibre), the 6.35kg PSRL has a maximum range of 1,000m and an effective range of up to more than 800m.

AirTronic will unveil the newest virtual training simulator for the PSRL at AUSA in Washington, DC.
