The TRML-3D radar system has proved its worth in a recent NATO exercise in Germany, developer EADS Defence & Security says.
TRML-3D is a mobile surveillance and target acquisition radar which can be integrated efficiently via the command and control systems of an air defence system.

In the exercise, the radar was used as part of the Dutch Future Ground Based Air Defence System (FGBADS), an integrated mixed and layered air defence system.
EADS says the system showed high performance when deployed on a mobile and networked basis, and integrating target data from the Link 16 tactical datalink at the same time proved how valuable interoperability is in short-to-medium range air defence systems.
TRML has been supplied to Lithuania and the Netherlands and is expected to be delivered to Malaysia in the near future, EADS says.
