Russia has opposed plans by the US military to deploy a radar station in the Czech Republic and interceptor missiles in Poland, according a report by Interfax news agency.

Speaking at a press conference following the last round of missile defence talks with the US in Budapest on Thursday, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak says talks on the issue have been “discouraging”.
