The New Zealand Army says it will purchase new military equipment designed and built in New Zealand for the combat service support units.
Under $8m of contracts awarded to local industry, the army will upgrade its fuel dispensing system for its military vehicle fleet.

In addition, the contract includes the purchase of indigenous heavy transport trailers, shipping container handling systems, cranes and vehicle servicing facilities.
New Zealand Army assistant chief of general staff capability Colonel Phil Collett said the new equipment would allow the army to improve maintenance and its ability to transport equipment.
