According to army officials, nano-size air and ground sensors could also be placed in specific areas to monitor the militants’ activities.

The Indian Army also expects to use micro-sized energy devices as lightweight power sources for man-portable radars, and allow missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles to operate in remote areas.
