The US Defense Logistics Agency Aviation has awarded a three-year fixed-price contract to Boeing to manufacture rotor heads for the US Army’s fleet of Apache attack helicopters.
Under the $31m contract, Boeing will manufacture an initial 100 spare main rotor heads, while an additional order for 50 rotor heads would increase the contract value to $48m if taken.
