The US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) has awarded a multiple award, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to SAIC to develop and deliver advance solutions to support US warfighters.
Under the $343m contract, SAIC will provide advanced capabilities and defence technologies required for modelling, simulation, analysis and integration of space and missile defence issues to support warfighters.

The company will also design and build technologies to help the army combat existing and future space and missile defence challenges.
The contract has a three-year base period of performance with two two-year options, and SAIC is one of two companies eligible to compete for future task orders.
