The Pakistani Army has successfully test fired an indigenously developed nuclear-capable cruise missile, Hatf-7, from an undisclosed destination that can hit targets in India.
The Hatf-7 or Babur cruise missile with stealth capabilities has a range of 600km and can carry strategic or conventional warheads.

The test fire was conducted as part of a process of validating the system, Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement.
The low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high manoeuvrability, pin-point accuracy and radar avoidance features incorporates modern cruise missile technology of terrain contour matching (TERCOM) and digital scene matching and area co-relation (DSMAC).
