US-based information technology company CACI International has secured a contract to provide geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis expertise.
CACI will provide the GEOINT analysis expertise to US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) under an eight year, single-award contract.

The cumulative value of the contract is $373m.
The contract will see CACI provide mission expertise, including full-lifecycle geospatial intelligence analytic support.
Furthermore, CACI system engineers will help ‘maintain and evolve’ the infrastructure of Special Operations Command’s intelligence information technology.
The company’s full lifecycle GEOINT expertise will apply to all phases of processing intelligence.

CACI also said it will update and maintain SOCOM’s geospatial architecture infrastructure and tools to ensure the efficient distribution of intelligence data to analysts.
CACI president and CEO John Mengucci said: “CACI is a proven partner for SOCOM, and has demonstrated it can dynamically support the command with the intelligence expertise it needs.
“CACI looks forward to applying the latest techniques in geospatial intelligence to support SOCOM’s global mission.”
Last month, the company secured a contract to support the US National Security Agency’s (NSA) signals intelligence and cybersecurity missions.
CACI recorded a 5.9% increase in revenues to $1.55bn in the third quarter of the year ending 31 March, compared with $1.46bn in the same period a year prior.
In July 2020, CACI partnered with US-based technology company RigNet to deliver several upgrades to SteelBox.
The company currently employs around 23,000 people.
