Iran has kicked off a military drill involving ground forces near the coast of Gulf of Oman amid tensions over its nuclear programme.
State TV showed that Iranian Army commandos and paratroopers are participating in the exercise near the port of Jask on the Gulf of Oman. The exercise is being supervised by Iran’s National Army chief Abdolrahim Mousavi, reported PTI.
