Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business unit will supply these tactical mission systems for installation on a range of vehicles and make it available with several brigades.

The products have similar characteristics with the Mounted Family of Computer Systems (MFoCS) II tactical computing products being delivered to the US Army and other allies.

The addition of these systems will provide the operator with on-the-move computing capability with the latest COTS technologies for mission-critical applications in harsh environments.

Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business senior vice-president and general manager Bill Guyan said: “We are honoured to be selected to deliver a world-class tactical C4i capability to support our allies in the Middle East.
