GMT Rubber-Metal-Technic Ltd., specialise in the design and manufacture of anti-vibration mounting, rubber-to-metal bonded components and moulded rubber products for the military, aerospace and naval industries.

Our anti-vibration mounting products are used in a vast range of applications where the primary objective is to eliminate harmful vibration and greatly reduce noise and absorb shock. NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC RUBBER COMPOUNDS FOR ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTING

A wide range of natural and synthetic rubber compounds are available which have been developed to withstand the extreme operating environments of military applications, providing improved levels of resistance to oils, surface abrasion wear, sunlight exposure and large temperature fluctuations.

Mould tooling is produced in-house and we are able to design special parts utilising computer modelling to meet customers’ individual application requirements whether for new applications or for improving/retrofit into existing designs.

TANK TRACK PADS

Cone mountings are suitable for many mobile applications as they are captive, offer large static deflections and progressive stiffening characteristics.

TRIFLEX MOUNTS AND MACHINE FEET

Triflex mounts and machine feet are available with or without rebound control and can be supplied with built-in height adjustment as required.

BUSHES AND SPHERICAL BEARINGS

Ideal for use in suspension units or any application requiring torsional flexibility and articulation: GMT bushes and spherical bearings can be manufactured in various sizes with parallel or tapered bores, or with extended lugs to offer alternative methods of fitment.

BUFFER MOUNTINGS

GMT offer a large standard range of buffers of various types. These range from straight forward bobbins with different combinations of tapped holes, threaded studs, cylindrical or hexagonal plates, interleaves and profiled rubber; through to rectangular body pad buffers and bump stops.

SPECIAL MOUNTINGS

GMT also produce a wide range of additional mounting systems such as U-mountings, device mountings, air mountings, T-mountings, H-mountings, bolster springs, side bearer mounts, chevron springs and primary and secondary suspension components.
